We are currently celebrating 44 years of caring for the needs of discerning skiers. Owner run by the Longley family, The Startingate offers a wide range of hand picked ski equipment and ski clothing from all over the world. Whether we are servicing the needs of a ski racer, freerider or an entire family of weekend skiers, The Startingate is always one step ahead. Our award winning reputation is founded on excellence in boot fitting and stance assessments, race ski and recreational ski preparation and unique ski wear.
The Startingate partners with only the very best in high end ski equipment and ski clothing. We are the Stratton area's exclusive dealer of Atomic, Fischer and Head skis along with Icelantic and Rossignol with ski boots from Atomic, Roxa, Fischer, Head, and Lange. We are also Stratton's exclusive apparel dealer of Kjus, Mountain Force, Frauenschuh, Parajumpers, Postcard, Harricana, Ammann and INUIKII along with Bogner, Fire+Ice, Skea, Holden, Phenix and more.
